Wallner: Berceuse

This work features a lyrical, romantic viola line soaring over a piano accompaniment. For an intermediate to advanced violist, this work presents a line that reaches into the upper register of the viola and stays there for some time with a 5/8 metric structure that presents some rhythmic challenges to the player.
